Courage and Waiting
The poetic wisdom of Psalms 27:14 encourages strength in times of uncertainty. The key Hebrew word here is קוֵה (kaveh – "wait" or "hope")—wait not in idle despair, but with hopeful anticipation and resolve.
This verse recognizes that waiting is woven with courage. Sometimes, hope means standing firm in the present, despite not knowing what comes next. The psalmist’s heart is bold, not because everything is certain, but because faith and hope are their own kinds of bravery.
