Streams in the Desert

New – חָדָשׁ (Chadash)

The Hebrew word חָדָשׁ (Chadash), pronounced cha-dash, means 'new.' Isaiah’s message is one of hope and renewal: even in the driest places, new life can spring forth. God’s spirit brings unexpected possibilities, even when the past feels heavy.

Let yourself be open to new beginnings. Trust that, even in your own 'deserts,' streams of hope and change can appear.

Reflection: What is one area of your life where you long for something new? Today, notice any small signs of renewal around you.
